I have so much to tell you, where shall I begin?

Put simply, I wanted to make something that bangs at a party.  Here’s what I like to play when I’m DJ’ing, what I played on tour with Childish Gambino, what I listen to at the gym.  It’s that shit I do like.  You’ll find some familiar tracks, along with new tracks from Childish Gambino ft. Jay Rock, and Gonage.

Trigger Happy was born.  The vibe came first, the name came second, and then there was the visual.  I immediately thought of this Triumvir image that I used to obsess over.  Triumvir was one of my favorite streetwear brands back in the day, when I used to dress like this.

Once upon a time, Triumvir made this tee with a beautiful Japanese geisha covered in yakuza tattoos, holding a gun.  I loved her duality.  I loved how coy she remained while weilding so much power in her hands.  I loved how simultaneously elegant and dangerous she was.  This chick was bad.

Smacked in the brain with the memory of the geisha I once loved, I was compelled to reach out to Triumvir to see if they’d let me use the image as my cover art.  To my surprise, they let me do more than that.  They’re bringing the tee back, in honor of Trigger Happy.  They put my logo on it too! Looks like this and you can buy it over at the Triumvir web shop.

I think it goes without saying, I am STUPID STOKED about this.  The whole project has come together with the help of amazing people.  Shoutout to the sweet guys at Triumvir, Eric Cano at XXL, Childish Gambino, Steve G Lover III, Gonage, and Ibra Ake.
